Next Summit Group was founded with the goal of providing clients with value-adding consulting support, appraisals, and technical due diligence across all power generating technologies, markets, and financing structures. For over 30 years, Pete Lewis, ASA, and his associates at NSG have been solving financial and technical problems in the power industry for sponsors, financial institutions, and government agencies. NSG is headquartered in Orlando, FL, and serves clients across North America.

Pete Lewis, Principal at NSG, has executed client engagements including fair market value appraisals, cost segregation studies, technical assessments, project inspections, and market analyses. An Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers, he has extensive experience with the appraisal of renewable generating assets (solar and wind), traditional power plants (natural gas, coal, nuclear), distributed generation technologies, industrial equipment and their associated markets. These analyses recognize all the drivers of value including energy sales, operating costs, state and federal tax incentives, technology evolution and replacement cost alternatives, and market sales activity. Clients have relied on Mr. Lewis and his team for due diligence support of sale/leasebacks, debt financing, partnership contributions, and property tax disputes.

Mr. Lewis, a licensed professional engineer, has acted as Independent Engineer for investors and sponsors on hundreds of solar and battery storage projects providing inspections for workmanship and code compliance, electrical production forecasting, design and testing reviews, as well as operating budget analysis and contract reviews. His team's technical support has also included investor-oriented technology reviews, construction monitoring, operations and equipment assessments at fuel-cell, combustion-turbine, and biofuel projects.
